The United States Mint has released images of the 2019 American Legion 100th Commemorative Coin program.
My design for the obverse of the $5 gold coin incorporates the outer rays of the American Legion Seal, the “V for Victory” and The Eiffel Tower which commemorates the founding of America’s largest wartime veterans service organization in Paris, France at the end of World War I. Phebe Hemphill, Sculptor-Engraver at The United States Mint, is credited with sculpting this design.
