Way back in 2016, shortly before the release of AVATAR and the SNL spoofs, there was Papyrus and me; still in the news.

Here is an interview with John Brownlee for Fast Company. Though some of the links have expired, the article contains some rare images of my initial sketches and early promotional materials from Letraset that are of interest to those who have contacted me about origins and history.

The original character set was feathery in weight and only included caps, initial caps, and swash caps. A lower case set was added per Letraset’s request
